"I wanted to send a note to say how thankful I am to the Schizy team and all the performers on Sunday - I laughed, I cried, and I felt the warm hug of humanity by being in a room of people fully expressing all their mad pride truth! What you and the performers do is a real gift to the world"
Honor Eastly - Artist, podcaster and professional feeler of feelings.

SiDAS Studio Resident Artist Mojo Exhibition 'Send It!' @ Abbotsford Convent.

Artworks on A3 envelopes exploring what we keep inside, what we send out and where/how we move in the world.

Looking back.

Mojo Festival has enjoyed different forms over the years.

of lived experience creative arts innovation and leadership.

City of Melbourne Award - Schizy Inc 'Mojo'

Photos from previous Mojo events:

Image descriptions: photos of people at Mojo events. Photos include performers speaking into microphone, audience clapping and smiling, a discussion panel of three people on stage in front of a big screen, filmmaking workshop in a classroom people learning how to use a camera, collage of four short film scenes including a main image of a a person drawing two stick figures talking to each other.

Mojo Festival and complex trauma.

What is 'complex post trauma stress (c-PTS) aware' art?

People who live with schizophrenia and similar realities like BP(d), OC(d), depression, often experienced some really tough stuff growing up - this is also known as complex-trauma stress (we believe it's not post, but ongoing; and it's not a disorder but a survival system).

Schizy Inc takes care in creating cultural spaces that give people a great time out, as well as supporting new art. We respect the reality of the many memory triggers out there in society. Producers and artists have created work that is culturally safe,  however as is the nature of our lived experience, some works will be preceded with a Content Advice notice.
