Forest is a visual artist with lots of experience unlocking doors to the arts with creative people who may have missed out on opportunities. She worked for 11 years at the Artful Dodgers Studios with people 15-28 experiencing complex trauma and in Bendigo with Multicultural Arts Victoria. She is passionate about generating creative experiences for all. ![]() Daniela has a lived experience of complex mental health and has worked as a lived experience advocate. She brought the December Cards Project to Bendigo, which encourages community members to write to people who are on mental health units over Christmas. Daniela loves being creative.
Forest and Daniela are dedicated to creating regional Schizy Inc events that meet the needs of local people with lived experience of complex mental health. Nicole has a lived experience of complex mental health and is currently a lived experience worker in the public mental health system. She has a decade-long history of working in the arts and has been involved in many community projects, including a mental health documentary called ‘Unbroken’, where people were interviewed about their experiences whilst being transformed through the art of bodypainting. She is a passionate advocate for the power of art as a tool to process and heal. Tim is an active member of Creative Gippsland, previously working with Regional Arts Victoria Gippsland managing numerous community arts and cultural development projects. Tim worked on social recovery in the region after the bushfires, supporting many artists and communities across Gippsland. Tim’s long-term experience in theatre and community development has seen him successfully support the transition of the Stratford Courthouse Theatre from private management into a key community presenter of local and touring performances. Nicole and Tim look forward to meeting with you at their upcoming community arts gatherings around Morwell to explore your lived experience of diverse mental health through creativity.
